Internationalist Tortolero assures that Venezuela is advancing in three foreign policy initiatives

“Venezuela continues to be the spearhead of the new foreign policy for a new world, in accordance with the values of humanity, in fact, we have established it in the fifth objective of the Plan for the Homeland,” said the international analyst, Tortolero Angelin the interview granted on the program Al Aire, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

He asserted that with the arrival of the president of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR) is reconstructed, as a concrete, tangible fact and a serious proposal. “A multilateral body is needed for the peoples of the south.”

Likewise, the internationalist stressed the importance of the reconstruction of Mercosur, as an economic mechanism for the region.

He emphasized, on the other hand, that the president of Mexico, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, continues to bet on CELAC, as a multilateral body in defense of the peoples.
