This Wednesday, officials from the National Institute of Land Transportation (INTT) inaugurated the International Transportation Office, at the Atanasio Girardot Border Bridge, a sector located on the border between Colombia and Venezuela.
Through its account on the social network Twitter, the INTT indicated that this new office will guarantee “the control and supervision of land transport that transits through the border crossing.”
According to AVN, in order to guarantee binational trade between the two countries, different documents will be processed.
Among them is the original service permit for Venezuelan passenger transport operators and the complementary permit granted to Colombian cargo transport operators to be able to circulate throughout the national territory.
