“Unfortunately, the international media has tried to invisible the real threat that exists against the country, as well as the region with the naval (military) presence of the United States in the Caribbean, with the aim of trying to seek to isolate Venezuela,” said the international analyst, Jean Paul Mertz.
During the interview granted in the Café in the morning program that is broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Mertz stressed that the letter of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, sent to his American counterpart seeks an encounter to dialogue, beyond the political differences and aggressions that responds to a media agenda directed by Lobby in the US.
Meanwhile, Jean Paul Mertz said that the Venezuelan government continues with diplomacy as a valuable tool to open “a space for dialogue within respect and what could be the search for common interests such as repatriation flights, in addition, oil operations have not ceased.”
On the other hand, the expert mentioned that the US government is not based on a single thought or action, but on a series of interest combined among its advisors, which could mark a course or direction.
