The Dominican Kurash Federation announced the celebration of a competition and two international seminars of this discipline, fairs scheduled to take place from December 8 to 15 in Boca Chica and Santo Domingo.
This was expressed by the engineer Jaime Casanova, president of the Pan-American Kurash Union (UPK) and Vice President of the International Kurash Association (IKA) of this sport.
He maintained that the first thing to be done will be an arbitration seminar scheduled for December 9 and 10, in which a new group of national and international referees will be trained, with the aim of continuing to strengthen this area in this sport.
Then on the 11th the International Kurash Championship will be held, a contest in which the participation of more than 130 athletes from 12 countries is expected. While on the 12th and 13th a seminar will be held, but for the coaches, who will be updated on various aspects related to the Kurash.
