In the document, they collect the violations of human rights in Nicaragua and the torture against political prisoners.
«We built the x-ray of the country kidnapped and usurped by the Ortega-Murillo clan, it is not a country with the regime, it is a prison. Almost 400 murdered since 2018 and around 200 political prisoners under inhuman conditions, massacres and closure of media outlets and the cancellation of all organizations,” denounces the report presented by the Commission on the afternoon of this Friday, November 4, from Costa Rica.

The complete report, which will be distributed next week, includes a chapter dedicated to the situation of the hostages with testimonies from “brave” people who have decided to denounce the presidential couple, in addition to collecting situations of state hierarchy under Ortega’s rule, the persecution communicators and civil society organizations. This work was carried out by Latin American parliamentarians with the aim of “disseminating” the situation in the Central American country to the international community.
The members of the commission state that “the Ortega-Murillo clan has been carrying out the most aberrant human rights violations and the most aberrant crimes, something that we were able to verify without the need to have entered Nicaragua, with the only impediment that the dictatorship made us We realized the magnitude of the situation.
Deputies and activists from Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Dominicans and other nations, from leftist political forces, Nicaraguan organizations forced to work from exile; human rights entities in the region; and representative groups of the Nicaraguan diaspora in Costa Rica, tried to enter Nicaragua at the end of July with the purpose of collecting information with visits to the political prisoners of La Modelo and La Esperanza, the penitentiary centers of Wiwilí, Granada and Chinandega, and in the homes where some of the inmates are held under the house arrest system.

In the press conference, they detailed that days before trying to enter Nicaragua, various steps were taken in different embassies in Managua in search of the approval of the Ortega-Murillo regime, which there was no way to achieve.

He has betrayed thousands of people from the Latin American left who went to Nicaragua in 1989 to fight against the Somoza dictatorship. He is criminal. Nicaraguan activist Julio Ricardo Hernández denounced through the conference that the regime has currently been “relentless” against opponents “they have taken people that we thought they would never touch, relatives of relatives, they are all innocent.
