Internal in the opposition: "In Together for Change they are angry with each other"

Teresa García denounced the existence of “a very high level of institutional violence” in the City of Buenos Aires.

The president of the Frente de Todos (FdT) bloc in the Buenos Aires Senate, María Teresa García, analyzed that the leaders of Together for Change (JxC) “are angry with each other” and asked them to “address their internal PASO” .

In this way, the legislator referred to the differences that arose in the opposition space regarding the actions of the City Police last Saturday after fencing off all the entrances to the house of Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner while a vigil on your back.

“They have made a terrible political evaluation. They want to resolve the internal discussion institutionally on democratic issues. What happened on Saturday has to do with who says harsher things. Ricardo López Murphy spoke of ‘them or us’. It is a level of institutional violence very big”, said the legislator in statements to the station El Destape Radio.

In this way, asked that within JxC “they solve their internal as they should do it: in the STEP” and predicted that in a short time “it will surely appear Elisa Carrio throwing firewood on the interior”.

“We have the obligation to govern. It is important to explain what the situation we are experiencing is. People are becoming aware. It happened during the dictatorship and that is happening now,” he concluded.

The president of the PRO and former Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, and the “hard” sectors, on the one hand, and officials from the Buenos Aires government, on the other, maintained a exchange of reproaches later that the former strongly criticized the work of the Buenos Aires police.

“When you make the decision to put up the fence, you maintain it. And you don’t run from there. What they are questioning is not the fence, that is symbolic. They question your government. The government is in the one that maintains order. And you cannot deliver that order,” Bullrich said when questioning the security operation and, in particular, that after the clashes the troops have withdrawn from the place.

The criticism of the head of the PRO did not end there, because later she insisted that “if you are afraid, you transmit that same fear of the Police.”

In response, the Minister of Security and Justice of the City, Marcelo D’Alessandro, stressed that the CABA government will not “tremble to restore social peace.”

For Garcia, “The words of Patricia Bullrich and Minister D’Alessandro show a lot of anger because it shows that they are angry with each other and with the situation” that was generated with the vigil that was installed near the home of the Vice President.
