“We want to know where the president is going to lead the country, because until now he has not issued a supreme decree of general policy of the Government,” Valer Pinto pointed out to this newspaper, highlighting that the lack of communication translates into a lack of clarity about the general guidelines between the Executive Branch and Somos Perú. As a last measure, he announced that on December 18 he sent a formal letter requesting Jerí Oré to agree to a meeting with the members of the ruling party at the Government Palace.

Ilich López would control the Ministry of Energy and Mines
Following the reports revealed by journalistic media indicating that Ilich López would have a network of influence within the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the official spokesperson for Somos Perú assured that Jerí’s lack of communication leaves open the possibility that the investigations are true.
“To date, the President of the Republic has not commented on this issue and unfortunately we do not know if it is true or not. And if it were a lie, we have no evidence to deny it,” he revealed.
Likewise, he mentioned that Jerí’s clear distancing from the members of Somos Perú is affecting the development of the legislative work of the congressmen of the bench. “We are concerned because the majority of the ruling party are not invited to the various meetings that the President of the Republic has in different regions,” denounced Valer, ensuring that this does not happen with members of other parties such as Fuerza Popular, Alianza Para el Progreso or Acción Popular.
“We want to have that same fraternity with which we invite all congressmen from each region, except those from Somos Perú,” said congressman Valer Pinto.
José Jerí is fulfilling favors from Fujimorism, APP and Popular Action
Given José Jerí’s constant meetings with members of other groups, Valer attacked, indicating that it would be an exchange of favors.
“He is possibly paying the favors that Fujimorism has asked him to return, because somehow Fujimorism’s votes led him to be president of the Republic,” he stated. He gave as an example the close bond that he has generated with the parliamentarian Ilich López, with whom he was seen walking through Huancayo, to the point that the regional governor himself complained to the President of the Republic about the “lack of objectivity” in his actions in relation to the Junín region.
“Congressman Ilich López would have greater preponderance and greater political decision-making power than the President of the Republic himself in the Junín region. That was what the regional governor himself denounced,” revealed Héctor Valer.
Finally, the spokesperson for the heart’s bench stressed that they watch from afar how Jerí Oré governs and that, very different from what citizens think, they are not considered in decision-making.
“There are several things that the president has to explain, at least to the country, but he has not done so until now, and even less so to his Somos Perú bench, which is the one to which, until today, he belongs,” he concluded.
