Interinstitutional Committee ratifies a state of emergency for the Census and gives the Government two deadlines

The Santa Cruz institutionality met this Wednesday afternoon to analyze the reports of the technical meeting with the INE last Monday at YPFB facilities. At the meeting, the state of emergency for carrying out the Census in 2023 was ratified. The Inter-institutional Committee stated that there are two essential dates: August 26, for the Government to present the detailed information it handles on the census, and August 3. September, limit for the decree that establishes the census for 2024 to be repealed

The representatives of Santa Cruz warned the national government that, in accordance with what was agreed at the “socialization” meeting, until August 26, they send the complete, substantiated and disaggregated official information of their proposal to carry out the Census, in order to to complement the study of the Interinstitutional Technical Commission.

They also demanded to immediately install the agreed work groups, which must conclude until September 3 without delay and the date is also the deadline for abrogation of Supreme Decree 4770, which establishes that the national survey must be carried out in 224.

In case of not complying with the resolutions of this meeting, they warn with new pressure measures.
