The Intercorp business group issued a statement denouncing the closure of its establishments in the district of Miraflores. In less than a week, the district municipality has closed 15 stores of various brands of the conglomerate, an action that the company describes as a measure without legal basis.
According to Intercorp’s statement, the inspection operations have affected its retail, restaurants, cinemas and financial services units.
The company maintains that these closures are “irregular” and lack valid technical arguments.
“These sanctioning actions have no technical or legal basis, since these establishments have the necessary regulatory permits and certificates,” the group specified.
For Intercorp, the immediacy and focus of these operations are no coincidence. The company directly links the closures to a contractual controversy related to the social collaboration agreement for the Niño Héroe Manuel Bonilla Sports Complex.
