Integration of the FANB with the people guarantees loyalty and defense of national sovereignty

“The Bolivarian National Armed Forces must be even more integrated with the people, because our path is loyalty, a value that has been consolidated this year towards the Revolution, the Bolivarian Project and the great destiny of the Homeland,” expressed the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, during his end-of-year 2025 greeting message to the FANB.

The head of state highlighted the need to strengthen the union between the military institution and Venezuelan society, “this integration must encompass the professional, academic, cultural and disciplinary capacity accumulated in more than two centuries of history. Let’s get creative so that we increasingly integrate this human capacity and link it to that deep Venezuela,” he said.

He stressed that the closeness of the FANB to communities, neighborhoods, urbanizations and fields is essential to consolidate the defense of the nation. President Maduro assured that the greater the integration with the people, the stronger the bond of respect and mutual protection will be in any circumstance that the country faces.

Also, he reflected on the historical meaning of loyalty as a guiding principle of the Armed Forces. “Our destiny is our path and our path is our destiny. Our path is Bolívar, it is Zamora, it is loyalty.”
