Attacks on other dependencies
The cyberattack suffered by the CNSF is in addition to the one recently suffered by the Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal (SHF), a development bank focused on housing financing. Newspaper versions have reported attacks on this organization in which criminals accessed the operational interconnection between this development bank and commercial banks.
The SHF has not issued a statement on the matter but the Digital Transformation Agency (ATD) recognized last January that it was an attack on different government institutions and said that it is information that had already been exposed although no sensitive data has been identified.
