The National Assembly installs Special Commission for the Reform of the Housing and Habitat Benefit Regime Lawwith the aim of guaranteeing accessibility in the process of adjudication of decent housing for the sector and establishing the inclusion and participation of the working class in the Directive of the National Housing and Habitat Bank (Banavih).
The commission is chaired by deputy Rigel Sergent (PSUV/Dtto Capital) and is made up of parliamentarians Franklin Rondón (PSUV/Anzoátegui), Ramón Lobo (PSUV/Mérida), Ricardo Molina (PSUV/Aragua), Wills Rangel (PSUV/Nacional ), Eglée Sánchez (PSUV/Aragua), Carolina Cestari (PSUV/Dtto Capital) and Luz Coromoto Chacón (PSUV/National).
The special delegation will establish an itinerary of action and will work in coordination with the Ministry of People’s Power for Habitat and Housing, for the adaptation of the law that must be adjusted to the vertices that have allowed the progress of the Great Housing Mission Venezuela.
Likewise, they will carry out a diagnosis for the location of land, and this process will have the training and formation of the working class in the construction of houses, production of building components and materials, and financing through Banavih.
In the same way, representative Rigel Sergent indicated that “it seeks to guarantee the access of the working class to the right to housing, expand the participation of Popular Power in decision-making, the recognition of different actors, forms of production that allow positioning and stimulate the construction sector and the diversification of financial resources”.
