The government suspended all monthly discounts made by associations and unions in the payroll of INSS retirees and pensioners and ensured that the illegal discounts will be returned. According to the Minister of the Comptroller General of the Union (CGU), Vinicius Marques de Carvalho, the return of the amounts discounted this month will occur in the next payroll.
According to Carvalho, no INSS retired or pensioner will be discounted until investigations of the operation without a discount will end and the government reorganizes a new legal framework for agreements between the INSS and civil society entities.
