According to the Financial Activities Control Board (Coaf), the lawyer’s office moved about R $ 4.3 billion in suspicious operations between 2019 and 2024, and most of these transactions involved Maurício Camisotti, to whom at least R $ 15.5 million would have been passed on.
The lawyer states that his relationship with the entrepreneur is “strictly professional and legal” and that “the values transferred refer to the acquisition of a land neighboring to his residence, lawful transaction and easy proof.”
If the CPMI Secretariat has difficulty summoning any of the witnesses, the committee chairman, Senator Carlos Viana (Somos-MG), determined that the Senate Legislative Police be called immediately in any city in the country.
The expectation is that part of the summoned will be heard this Thursday (18).
