INSS agencies are closed from Wednesday to Friday this week

National Social Security Institute (INSS) branches across the country will be closed from Wednesday (28) to Friday (30) for in-person service due to improvements planned in the pension systems of Dataprev, the company responsible for Social Security information technology.INSS agencies are closed from Wednesday to Friday this week

It is worth remembering that remote service channels, such as My INSS (website and application ) and the 135 telephone exchange will operate normally until the 27th, with more than 100 services available.

The INSS also warns that, from 7pm on the 27th until the 31st of January, Meu INSS (website and application) and the 135 telephone exchange will be unavailable.

The measure, according to the institute, is necessary for the modernization of systems, in order to ensure greater stability, security and efficiency of services.

To reduce impacts on citizens, INSS provided extra service last weekend, “with the aim of bringing forward appointments and compensating for the temporary suspension of in-person service”.

The institute also informed that it guaranteed reimbursement in cases where the beneficiary preferred to receive in-person assistance on a business day.
