-Fraud: 9,684 pesos.
-Other thefts: 6,582 pesos.
-Robbery or assault on the street or public transport: 6,076 pesos.
-Robbery in a home: 5,819 pesos.
-Other crimes: 5,346 pesos.
-Injuries: 3,130 pesos.
-Partial vehicle theft: 2,473 pesos.
-Verbal threats: 2,042 pesos.
-Extortion: 1,999 pesos.
The cost of insecurity in Mexico is similar to the money allocated in 2022 to institutions such as the Ministry of the Interior (6,218 million 678,962 pesos), the Ministry of National Defense (104,107 million 905,551 pesos), the Navy (37,750 million 191,112 pesos ), Public Security (93,379 million 484,115 pesos), Foreign Affairs (9,068 million 931,721), which together add 250,525 million 191,461 pesos.
