The chief of staff of the province of Buenos Aires, Martín Insaurralde, proposed that the municipalities in the area of operation of Edesur become “charge of the company” of electricity distribution.
“The municipalities responsible for the area of influence of Edesur believe that the time has come to take action on the matter,” the former mayor of Lomas de Zamora said on his Twitter account.
“We want to put together a consortium and offer, within the market rules, to take over the company paying what it’s worth”added the Buenos Aires official.
We propose to take care of @OficialEdesur preserving in the power of the municipalities the value of regulatory assets and putting ourselves in charge of the investment that is needed to put an end to the laziness of this company.
