Inpsasel begins international cooperation program on labor assistance

Inpsasel comienza programa de cooperación internacional en materia de asistencia laboral

This Monday, the National Institute for Prevention, Health and Occupational Safety (Inpsasel), begins the Technical Training Assistance program that seeks to strengthen the “Occupational Health and Safety Management System”.

Through its account on the Instagram social network, the institution reported that the training activity that will be held until October 21 is part of the cooperation agreements that were established between Venezuela and Spain in labor matters.

“The objective is to strengthen the technical capacities to provide better attention and give efficient responses to the Venezuelan working class in the New Era, as instructed by the Workers’ President Nicolás Maduro and guided by our Minister of People’s Power for the Social Process of Work, Francisco Torrealba ”, indicated the institution in the publication.

The topics will be in charge of the Technical Counselor Lcda. Macarena Bedmar, attached to the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy of Spain, according to the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).

The training will be given through the Zoom platform, and will be focused on the “Basic Concepts of the prevention of Occupational Risks, Work Accidents and Occupational Diseases”.

Inpsasel explained that the training forum will have the participation of 260 officials, among whom are 202 inspectors and 58 labor supervisors at the national level.

In addition, he said that the training will also involve the Ministry of Labor of El Salvador, who will train approximately 50 officials.
