It runs on Saturday, November 1 under the motto “With opportunities, young people step Strong”
The details of the activity organized by the National Youth Institute through the Departmental Directorate of MIDES in Cerro Largo in relation to the traditional INJU 5K are known.
This year under the motto “With opportunities, young people step Strong” the activity is more than a competition because a MIDES Social Fair will also be held along with a fair for entrepreneurs and artisans, all enlivened by several artistic shows in the large space offered by Plaza Constitución.
“As every year we have a reason for this that has to do with the 5K, in this case putting opportunities for youth on the table is something very important and something this Administration is putting emphasis on. We as participants in public policies are in that, trying to give opportunities to young people because they are the present of our society” manifested Nicolas Cardozo.
The bullfight is scheduled to take place next Saturday, November 1, in the afternoon as part of an extensive day where there will be other attractions not only for those who plan to compete but for the entire family. “We are going to start with a MIDES Social Fair in Plaza Constitución. At the same time, the t-shirts will be handed out. The idea is that the race itself will start at 6:30 p.m.” confirmed.
“The route will be completely central. The circuit includes Saravia, Herrera, 18 de Julio and Del Pilar streets. To complete the 5 kilometers, participants must travel it 4 times” reported. “This gives the possibility that those who cannot do everything can do a little less” he added.
“You can run, walk, you can skate or ride a bicycle, you can come with strollers, obviously under a certain organization: if we are going to ride a bicycle we have to do it carefully, but the idea is that everyone comes and participates, that nothing prevents them from being here with us” said the Departmental Reference of the Youth Institute.
People who are interested in participating still have time to register because the deadline will close next Wednesday, October 29. “T-shirts, as well as hydration and fruits, are free” Cardozo remarked. “Up to 3 days before the race there is time to sign up. We always insist on that because it is the way to have a guaranteed t-shirt. You can also do it on the day of the race, but they will be subject to the availability of t-shirts that we have” broad.
The steps to make the registration effective are very simple. You must enter the site www.inju.gub.uy or simply typing INJU in the Google search engine. “The first thing that will jump out is that. It is a super easy form, very specific. In the case of children, if they are better accompanied and if not, there is a disclaimer of responsibilities on the same page that they must present when raising their shirt. That is important” Nicolás Cardozo stressed.
