The Simón Bolívar I District Education Center, located in the Sucre parish of the Libertador municipality, in Caracas was fully rehabilitated in order to attend 361 children and girls, from the maternal stage, from six months of age, to the preschool level, announced the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, together with the head of the Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández.
During the balance of the work presented to President Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, via satellite, Meléndez indicated that the educational center also offers specialized care to infants with particular conditions. These actions of the Bolivarian Government guarantee decent spaces during the new 2025-2026 school period.
Among the works executed include the waterproofing of ceilings, repair of the hydropneumatic system, restoration of walls, doors and bathrooms, replacement of 380 luminaires, drainage maintenance, reflector placement, space signaling, facade paint and demalarity of 320 square meters of green areas. In addition, in these facilities the nucleus of the National System of Orchestras and Youth Choirs of Propatria works, which incorporates 490 children and young people into musical initiation programs.
The objective is to invest the necessary resources in the education of the people, in health, in housing. In the rights of the people! This rehabilitation demonstrates the arduous work of the Bolivarian government to guarantee quality education to the entire Venezuelan people, ”said Meléndez.
The recovery of the Simón Bolívar I District Education Center strengthens access to initial education in popular sectors of the capital, and consolidates the link between community, culture and integral formation. The National Government confirms its commitment to the development of educational spaces that promote inclusion, values and well -being for Venezuelan childhood.
