Inhabitants of the Caracas-La Guaira corridor are trained in community participation

Capacitan en Participación Comunitaria a habitantes de corredor Caracas-La Guaira

A total of 30 people from the Caracas-La Guaira highway, in the Libertador municipality, participated in a Community Training workshop that included the creation of a Community Risk Map that covers 41.6 hectares of the Fabricio Ojeda Commune.

The activity, which took place at the Cecilia Núñez School, was led by the director of the Ecosocialist Territorial Unit (UTEC) Caracas, Marlyn Jiménez, who provided information about the plans, programs and activities promoted by the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism, in addition to highlighting the importance of the risk map to identify dangerous points in the community and thus prevent any natural eventuality.

The meeting is aligned with vertices 1 (Organization and Training for Life) and 4 (Climate for Life) of the Great Mission Mother Earth Venezuela, with which eco-socialist environmental development is promoted, which maintains the balance of ecosystems.

With these deployments, the Ministry of Popular Power for Ecosocialism seeks to raise people’s awareness of environmental matters.
