The National Institute of Vocational Technical Training (Infotep) reported that during the new 2025 a total of 4,606 micro, small, medium and large companiesthrough the Regional Metropolitan, Eastern, Cibao Norte, Cibao Sur, Este and Sur directions, as part of the goals of the Annual Operating Plan 2025 approved by the Board of Directors of the institution.
The general director of Infotep, Rafael Santos Badiastated in a press release that the institution will reach companies in all categories nationwide, establishing an increase of 7% compared to the 2024 goal, which was 4,320 companies.
In that order, he highlighted that they will seek to guarantee access for 284,937 workers and 100,301 managers and middle managers nationwide, train in different special areas to 4,611 participants and implement training programs training to 10 companies related to industry 4.0.
“This new type of service will allow us to cover immediate needs in competencies techniques and technological specific, establishing a standard of competencies in the market, facilitating the hiring and promotion of personnel,” highlights the statement from Infotepwhere it is stated that they will additionally increase the training continuous compatible with the work day.
Within the goals for next year, the entity also plans to impact 401 companies through the service of advice and technical assistance and the implementation of methodologies in the areas of:
- Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) applied to micro, small and medium-sized businesses
- Marketing management in the company

The professional technical institution also stated that through the service of certification by competencies 57 will benefit companies with around 1,157 workers in total.

The 2025 annual operating plan
