Infotep y Daikin inauguran aula laboratorio en DN

The National Institute of Professional Technical Training (Infotep) and Daikin Latam, a world leader in air conditioning solutions, yesterday inaugurated a laboratory classroom equipped with the latest technology and modern furniture to enhance the training of refrigeration students.

Daikin assumed the installation of the classroom in the Infotep Metropolitan Regional Directorate, including the acquisition and implementation of specialized equipment to guarantee its optimal functioning.

Maira Morla, deputy general director of Infotep, said that the classroom will position itself as a reference in high-level practical training in the country.

“We deeply value the continuous training that Daikin will offer our teachers. This specialized training will guarantee not only the effective use of the installed equipment, but also access to the latest technologies and methodologies in the sector,” he said.

He also explained that the space reproduces real work environments, making it easier for technicians to acquire skills aligned with current market needs.

Simón Morao, Country Sales Manager of Daikin in the country, highlighted the impact of this initiative for the development of professional technical training and its contribution to the socioeconomic progress of the country.

Daikin and SAEG made a donation to Infotep that includes equipment, furniture and resources valued at RD$1.9 million, for the conditioning and operation of the classroom.
