The Professional Technical Training Institute (Infotep) and the Coordination Council of the Special Border Development Zone (CCDF) signed an agreement that will benefit companies established in border provinces.
Those provinces are Pedernales, Independencia, Elías Piña, Dajabón, Montecristi, Santiago Rodríguez and Bahoruco. It seeks to design and implement initiatives and projects that contribute to the economic, social and tourist development of the border area,
The agreement establishes training initiatives in areas identified as priorities for the productive sectors, in the interest that technical training graduates have greater job opportunities in established companies or develop the skills to start their own businesses.

The general director of Infotep, Rafael Santos Badía, explained that the alliance, valid for three years, includes support for companies that are covered by or are covered by the current Law 12-21.
