Infonavit: 295,000 people pay off their loans early

The program grants a 50% discount on the debt of people who pay off their financing early, as long as the total balance is equal to or less than 25% of their initial debt and they pay the amount in a single installment after applying the discount.

The states with the most beneficiaries were Nuevo León, with 32,043 and a discount amount of 809 million pesos; Jalisco, with 31,796 people and 870.7 million, and Mexico City, with 20,289 people, for an amount of 529 million.

The institution announced that the program continues and borrowers who want to verify whether their financing is eligible for the program can access Mi cuenta Infonavit (micuenta.infonavit.org.mx) starting on the 10th of each month.

The discount is only available if the resulting amount is paid in a single installment at authorized banks before the last day of the business month.
