MIAMI, United States. — This Wednesday he appeared at the Le Jeune Cinema 6from the city of Miami, the documentary Influencerswhich recreates the career as a presenter of Alex Otaola and his impact within the Cuban community in South Florida.
Directed by the filmmaker Javier Labrador in conjunction with Huracán Films & Media and the Cubanos por el Mundo platform, the material, of more than two hours, analyzes the Otaola phenomenon from its beginnings and how its space has become a tribune against the regime Cuban.
The premiere was attended by other renowned Cuban influencers and activists living in exile, such as Eliécer Ávila, Los Pichy Boys and Karlitomadrid.
According to Alex Otaola himself, in charge of the executive production and the original idea of the documentary, although some tickets were sold to the public for the premiere of the material, they sold out immediately.
Otaola declared that there are steps to ensure that the documentary can be seen on platforms such as Netflix or HBO, although he acknowledged that it was a complex process.
