However, prices continue to be high if the annual and year-to-date variation is taken into account, which indicates that these values still continue to impact households and the moderation does not compensate for the increases in all of 2022.

BREAKFAST, THE MOST RISING FOOD
According to a Euromonitor report, one of the meals that has felt the most the effect of inflation so far in 2022 is breakfast.
According to an analysis by the think tankeggs, coffee and some fruits were the foods that increased the most in Colombia in the first part of the year.
Oranges registered a price increase of 44%. A kilo that used to cost an average of $2,500 is now around 4,500 pesos. This fruit is one of the most consumed in juices at breakfast.

Eggs, meanwhile, increased by about 33%. Currently a bucket of eggs, which used to range between 8,000 and 11,000 pesos, now costs 14,000.
Another of the products with the highest rise has been coffee and its derivatives, which have registered increases. The increase was 33%, so a kilo that cost 11,000 pesos is now on the market for about 17,000 pesos.
Fresh fruits also rose more than 30%. These increased 32%, as did milk.
