A total of 2,081 positive cases of coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours in the province of Buenos Aires, so that the infected since the beginning of the pandemic rose to 2,129,585, reported the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health. In the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), a total of 1,613 new cases of coronavirus and one death were reported in the last 24 hours.
A follow-up of the figures in the two most populated districts of the country shows that, for now, infections continue to be registered but the number of deaths does not increase.
This Sunday, 2,081 cases and 1,763 in the City of Buenos Aires were also registered in the province of Buenos Aires Buenos Aires. There were 12 deaths in the province of Buenos Aires.
On Saturday, 1,755 cases were registered in the province of Buenos Aires and 1,223 in the City of Buenos Aires. There were 11 deaths in the province.

On Wednesday Buenos Aires reported 3,586 and the City of Buenos Aires 2,241 infections. One death was registered in the province of Buenos Aires and two in the City of Buenos Aires.
On Tuesday 3,372 cases were registered in the province of Buenos Aires and 1,719 in CABA. There were 4 deaths in the province and 3 in the City of Buenos Aires.
On Monday, 1,955 cases and 4 deaths were registered in the province of Buenos Aires; in the City of Buenos Aires, 1,126 and two deaths.
Vaccination advances
The Buenos Aires health portfolio also specified that the deceased number 55,303 and pointed out that on Sunday 25,183 people were vaccinated.
The total number of registered for immunization is 15,651,585 and the total number of vaccines applied so far is 29,081,488 of which 14,719,630 correspond to the first dose, 12,586,283 to the second and 1,775,575 to the third .

The situation in CABA
Meanwhile, a total of 1,613 new cases of coronavirus and one deceased were reported in the last 24 hours in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA), which raised to 538,593 the number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the number of deaths rose to 11,888.
According to the health situation report, the occupation of beds in Intensive Care Units (ICU) in the public health system is 5.4%.
It was reported that 568 intensive care beds are available out of a total of 600, as 34 beds are occupied.
The report added that, in moderate cases, occupancy is 2.8% (42 employed out of 1,500 available) and in mild cases, 2.5% (125 out of 5,000).
It was also specified that in the private health system 120 intensive care beds are occupied out of a total of 1,222 (9.8%), while in the moderate ones the occupation is also 9.8%, with 247 beds occupied out of 2,530 available.
The fatality rate, that is, the percentage of deaths on positive diagnoses, is located in 2.21%.
The part of the Buenos Aires government this Monday morning added that 1,034 patients were discharged, which adds up to 489,114 people recovered since the beginning of the pandemic last year.
In addition, the health system reported 575 new cases of coronavirus corresponding to non-residents in CABA, with a cumulative total that reached 374,544, while 374 were discharged (a total of 351,007) and no deaths were recorded (an accumulated of 4,367).
Since the arrival of the pandemic in Argentina, a total of 7,322,380 swabs have been carried out in the capital district, with an accumulated positivity rate (confirmed cases on tests carried out) of 12.2%; while yesterday 15,689 swabs were performed, with an average positivity of 11.9%.
On the other hand, it was reported that 10 new cases of coronavirus were reported in the popular neighborhoods of Buenos Aires, there were 9 people discharged and no deaths were recorded.
