INEA prohibited the departure of vessels before the arrival of storm Bret

The INEA took as a forecast before the passage of the Bret storm near the national territory to suspend the departure of small boats. They estimate that by Sunday the storm will pass through Los Monjes


The National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) issued a statement on the night of Wednesday, June 21, in which it prohibited the departure of small passenger, fishing, recreational and sports vessels in the eastern, central and western regions of the country due to the passage from storm Bret. This provision enters into force from this Thursday, June 22 “until further notice”.

The storm “will pass through the north of Venezuela between Thursday and Friday,” and “could cause showers with electrical activity and gusts of wind,” the ministry explained, citing statements offered this Wednesday by the president of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh ), José Pereira, to the state channel Venezolana de Televisión (VTV).

In an interview granted to Circuit HitsPereira believes that the energy of tropical wave 10 could have been capitalized by storm Bret in the Caribbean Sea, since the expected rains have not occurred.
