The INE, he noted, must be careful in its savings goals so as not to jeopardize the Institute’s activities.
“At this moment I see it difficult for us to be in a position to have a visualization in this regard and, above all, because next September the 2023-2024 Electoral Process will begin and with the inflation rates that have run in recent years and forecast for this one, I would say that we should be very careful with the savings goals to be able to meet them in the first instance and, above all, to be able to comply with the obligations that this institution has in the organization of elections”, he stated.
The approved project identifies various areas of opportunity that, following austerity and rationality measures, can generate savings in materials, office supplies, leasing, parking, telephone service, electricity, general services, and personal services.
