To evaluate its image, the National Electoral Institute (INE) will spend almost a million pesos. The foregoing, in accordance with the tender to contract three quantitative studies for this purpose, one under the modality of face to face in housing and two through telephone survey.
Furthermore, as previously reported (the day, 5/21/22), will allocate 4.6 million as advisory
for the preparation of the 2014-2022 accountability report of the president counselor, and 3.6 million as advisory service related to the documentation of the most relevant processes through management reports in the period 2014-2022
.
In this way, a part of the previous report on management and results of the Internal Control Body (OIC) of the INE is broken down, which participated, during the first half of the year, in 34 sessions of the review subcommittee of calls for procurement, in which the procedures were analyzed and contracts for 75.3 million pesos were awarded.
The cost of consulting for the preparation of reports of the management of Lorenzo Córdova was criticized by the head of the OIC, Jesús George, considering that the INE has in its staff of 18 thousand workers specialized personnel for that function.
The OIC list mentions, for example, the spending schedule of 9.7 million for the service of a travel agency for the purchase or cancellation of national and international plane tickets required by the INE.
In addition, 2.4 million for the service of specialized technicians for the production of journalistic programs for television
while another tender with which it was intended to hire a creative agency for the development of the creativity of institutional campaigns of the INE 2022-2025
was suspended due to ex officio intervention by the OIC.
Other expenses of the institute are to operate elections and consultations; For example, 15.7 million were spent on the transfer of materials from the revocation of the mandate and almost one million on the distribution of the nominal list for this same consultation process, as well as the contests of last June.
Some calls have been declared void, such as the manufacture of 90 model 6.0 electronic ballot boxes
not so other items, such as 9.7 million used for office supplies of the national headquarters of the institute, or the million for supply and installation of tires and rims
for the body’s vehicle fleet.
Also 2.4 million for satellite telephony service for the communication of the operators of the election of last June, to mention some expenses of this classification.
