Quiñonez pointed out that democratic unions are not a danger and highlighted the importance of counting on the solidarity of international organizations from the United States and Canada.

“We appreciate the solidarity of unions in the United States, unions in Canada, unions from all over the world, it is important that American companies come to employ workers but it is also very important that there is solidarity with workers from various countries, not It’s a crime,” he said.
He considered that the workers should feel confident that the process is being monitored at the international level.
Workers from Manufacturas VU assured that currently the company does not have a union, but the company’s administration provided facilities for the union linked to the CTM to enter the plant.
“We want a union that belongs to the workers, a collective contract that really helps us,” said Verónica Rivera, a worker at Manufacturas VU.
Julia Quiñonez assured that the labor complaint filed within the framework of the TMEC and that is being investigated by the Mexican government, will continue its course, regardless of the result of the consultation.
