“We are a fairly resilient sector. After the pandemic and despite the crisis, we are seeing tremendous growth in the events industry. People want to celebrate today more than ever. The pandemic gave us a vision of living in the present and not leaving memorable celebrations for later”, explains Rosa Cusirramos, director of Event Planners Peru”.
And he adds that this year, the events will generate income of S/ 2 billion, “which translates into 20% more than what this industry registered in 2019, before Covid-19,” he adds.
The expert refers that along with the high demand for events, providers of various sectors must continue learning new trends, techniques and strategies to improve their business skills “because the market is increasingly competitive, since we have a client more informed thanks to the internet”, he explains.

And Rosa estimates that if this industry normally moves around S/ 1,200 million a year, the rebound in demand for these services suggests that it will exceed 2,000 million this year.
