SANTO DOMINGO.-Starting on the 21st of this month, the Dominican Institute of Telecommunications (Indotel) will begin the analog blackout, or digital switch-on, a project that has been in the pipeline for more than a decade and that contemplates providing signal decoder boxes to 940 thousand people from Santo Domingo, the provinces of the eastern region and several municipalities of San Cristóbal, in the first stage.
To disclose more details, the president of Indotel, Guido Gómez Mazara, participates as a guest at the weekly lunch of the Corripio Communications Group.
