Santo Domingo.– The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (INDOMET) reported that this Wednesday, mostly sunny conditions will prevail in a large part of the country, although scattered showers will be recorded in some locations, as a result of the northeast wind flow and orographic effects.
According to the report, from morning hours they will present occasional cloudy weather accompanied by moderate showers at times on the north and northeast slopes, the Cibao valley and the eastern plain. Among the provinces where this rainfall is expected are Puerto Plata, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez, Duarte, Samaná, Monte Plata, Hato Mayor, El Seibo, La Altagracia, Sánchez Ramírez, Santo Domingo, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega and San Cristóbal. In the rest of the national territory, mostly sunny conditions will remain.
For this ThursdayINDOMET indicated that the moderate northeast wind flowcombined with the presence of a trough northeast of the islandwill cause cloudy increases from early hours of the daygenerating Intermittent downpours of moderate intensity at times. These rains will affect localities of La Altagracia, Samaná, María Trinidad Sánchez, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Puerto Plata, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, La Romana, Monte Plata, Monseñor Nouel, Sánchez Ramírez, Duarte, La Vega and Santiago.

Regarding temperatures, the meteorological organization indicated that they will feel pleasant to cool during the night and early morningespecially in mountainous areas and inland valleys. Likewise, they could present fogs and mists due to the winter season, mainly in areas of Barahona, the San Juan and Neiba valleys, as well as in Cibao.
