Santo Domingo.- A high pressure system or anticyclone will limit rain activity in the next 48 hours in much of the country, and only in mountainous places will short showers be recorded.
This was reported this Sunday by the Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet), when predicting that only in towns located in the vicinity of the Central Mountain Range will cloud activity be recorded.

Likewise, the organization urged boat users to stay in port, due to the abnormal waves on the Atlantic coast.
A maritime alert was issued from Cabo San Rafael, La Altagracia province, to Cabo Francés, in the María Trinidad Sánchez province.
