He indicated that in the afternoon, the frontal system will extend towards demarcations of the southeast, central mountain range and the border areamainly to La Romana, El Seibo, San Pedro de Macorís, Hato Mayor, Monte Plata, the great Santo Domingo, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, Santiago Rodríguez, Elías Piña and Dajabón.
While at night, it is expected to be over Montecristi, Puerto Plata, Espaillat and María Trinidad Sánchez.
Indomet also reported that a broad area of low pressure is likely to develop over the southwestern Caribbean Sea in the middle of next week with the probability of cyclonic development; However, he highlighted that the probability of formation is very low for the next 48 hours and for the next seven days it is only 20%.
