SANTO DOMINGO.- The Dominican Institute of Meteorology (Indomet) predicted moderate rains for this Tuesday in several provinces, due to the incidence of the East-Northeast wind.
The rains will begin to register from the early hours of Tuesday over the provinces La Altagracia, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, Samaná, Puerto Plata, Espaillat, María Trinidad Sánchez and Duarte.
In the afternoon, until the night, these rainfall will be of moderate intensity in the aforementioned provinces and will be extended to Monte Plata, Santo Domingo, San Cristóbal, Peravia, Monsignor Nouel, La Vega and the National District.
Meteorology also warned that the recommendation to remain in Puerto on the Atlantic coast remains in force for small vessel operators, due to abnormal waves.

This warning governs from Cabo San Rafael, in La Altagracia, to Cabo Francés Viejo, in María Trinidad Sánchez.
Meanwhile, in the Caribbean Sea you must remain in Puerto from Isla Beata to Cayo Pissoea, in the Southern Pedernales.
