Independientes, Vamos and MOCA demand an audit of parallel decentralization

Judith Pena | June 19, 2023

A group of pre-candidates for free application, members of the Vamos Coalition and the Other Way Movement (MOCA) came together this Monday to present a request to the Attorney General’s Office for an audit of the $200 million that was approved for through parallel decentralization.

Specifically, they seek to investigate whether there was a misuse of funds from the so-called “parallel decentralization.”

Among the signatories of this complaint are the lawyer Ernesto Cedeño, Ricardo Alberto Tribaldos, Paulette Thomas, the deputy Juan Diego Vásquez Gutiérrez, the pre-candidate for the Movimiento Otro Camino, Ricardo Alberto Lombana, the pre-candidates for the free nomination for the presidency Eduardo Quirós and Francisco Carreira-Pitti.

Representatives Gabriel Silva, Edison Broce and Rosemary Barrios are also part of this complaint.
