Mushuc Runa wins 2-4 and is momentarily alone in front of the final home run

Valley Independent won this Thursday by 2-4 to Mushuc Runacontinues unstoppable and with a perfect campaign in the dispute of the Ecuadorian Cup, by accumulating the second victory in two games played by the final home run. Argentines Lautaro Díaz, Jonathan Bauman twice, and Júnior Sornoza converted Independiente’s goals, while Argentine Santiago Giordana and Wilter Ayoví scored for Mushuc Runa.
From the beginning of the game, Independiente took control of the actions and the Argentine Díaz warned of his intention to try to score after a great attacking play: he faced the goalkeeper, but lost in the heads-up. In the next action, Diaz he beat the local defenses by speed, outwitted goalkeeper Adonnis Pavón and scored at will, in the 18th minute, after a deep pass from his compatriot Cristian Pellerano.
Mushuc Runa, who suffered the exit due to injury of the Uruguayan midfielder Adrián Colombino, replaced by Juan Nazareno, scored the tie after a fast attack by the Uruguayan Mauricio Alonso, who reached the baseline and put the ball back for the shot on goal by the Argentinian Giordanaat minute 28.

With the victory this Thursday, Independiente del Valle is the leader with 6 points, followed by 9 de Octubre, with 3; while El Nacional and Mushuc Runa have not added yet. This second day will be completed on September 8 with the match between El Nacional and October 9.
After this Thursday’s game, Independiente will meet next September 14 to October 9 and Mushuc Runa will visit El Nacional on the third date of the final home run.
