INDECOPI issued a new security alert with respect to Electric Scooters of the Roadtrip brand, after detecting serious defects that could represent a risk of short circuit to users.
The Rash Peru SRL company reported that 1,230 units of the Roadtrip Black 3 model have hermetic seal failures, which allows moisture filtration and compromises the security of the electrical system.
According to the supplier, the Roadtrip Black 3 model, distributed in Coolbox and Urbanrider establishments, could present deficiencies in the hermetic seal of the posterior wiring area. This failure would allow moisture filtration, which significantly increases the risk of short circuit during use.
Due to this situation, Rash Peru Srl has taken immediate measures:
- Remove the product of your sales platforms.
- In addition, it has started a call to review the units involved in order to strengthen the sealing of the affected area.
