The Indecopi reported that 23% of taps and service stations maintain, and, in other cases, have increased the gasoline price of 90 and 84, gasohols of 90 and 84, Diesel B5-S-50 UV and Diesel B5 S-50.
The regulator carried out this evaluation in the framework of the exemption from the Selective Consumption Tax (ISC) of some fuels, and its task of verifying if the reduction has been transferred to sales prices.
As a result of this finding, Indecopi could evaluate, within its competences, and in coordination with other organizations, the beginning of the actions that can be adopted.
He added that he plans to prepare a ranking of the taps and service stations that have registered a greater reduction in fuel prices included in the measures decreed by the government.
Since the ISC exemption was announced for 90 and 84 gasoline, 90 and 84 gasoholes, Diesel B5-S-50 UV and Diesel B5 S-50, Indecopi has monitored 212 taps and service stations nationwide between on April 5 and 7 (66 in Lima and Callao and 146 in regions).
It verified that the exoneration of the ISC would have caused the reduction of their sales prices in 77% of these establishments and in 1.33% of value.
Most of the faucets and service stations that have not reduced their prices, or even increased them, are located in Amazonas, Áncash, Apurímac, Arequipa, Ayacucho, Cajamarca, Cusco, Huancavelica, Huánuco, Ica, Junín, La Libertad. , Lambayeque, Lima, Moquegua, Pasco, Piura, Puno, San Martin, Tacna and Tumbes.
