Government does not declare a state of emergency due to forest fires, but will reconsider if the situation worsens
Prime Minister Gustavo Adrianzén said that, for now, the Government has not considered it necessary to declare a state of emergency in the regional governments affected by the recent forest fires.
However, Adrianzén said that this measure will be reviewed if the situation worsens and if regional governments make a formal request.
“At the moment, it has not been considered necessary to declare a state of emergency in any of the regional governments due to forest fires.“, said Gustavo Adrianzén.
He then continued with: “If this were to worsen, we will evaluate it, following a request from the regional governments.”.
