The increase in fares for public transportation was the factor that contributed the most to the monthly variation of the Consumer Price Index (CPI)in January 2023.
This was announced this Saturday by National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane) in the CPI report for January, which shows that the Transportation division contributed 3.98% to the monthly variation, which for this period was 1.78%.
