While yesterday, after conducting 15,400, the institution reported 1,248 positive cases.
For experts in the field, the increase in the number of tests is due to the incidence of influenza in the national territory, since both viruses cause the same symptoms and force the infected person to carry out a differential diagnosis to detect which of the ailments is affecting your health.
Other indicators
Through the epidemiological bulletin, the government entity reported that the pathology has taken the lives of 4,170 people.
However, he stressed that despite the new deaths, the fatality rate fell to 1.05 percent.
Likewise, he declared that the accumulated positivity fell to 10.69 percent.
Hospital network
Hospital bed capacity for coronavirus patients is at 28 percent, with 630 occupied.
Meanwhile, intensive care occupancy stands at 42 percent, with 243 beds used.
