Santo Domingo.– An atmosphere of disorder occurred this Tuesday during the distribution of Christmas boxes carried out at the National House of the People’s Forcein the National District, an activity headed by the former president Leonel Fernandez.
The event, conceived as an initiative to assist vulnerable families during the Christmas festivities, was interrupted by pushing, fighting and arguments among attendees, forcing support staff to intervene to prevent the situation from getting worse.

Witnesses indicated that the large influx of people and the limited organization in access to the place generated tension, causing episodes of confrontation while the aid was being delivered.
Although no injuries or arrests were reported, the incident generated concern among those present and the logistics team, which attempted to restore order to continue the activity.
The delivery of Christmas boxes is part of the social actions that the political leader carries out every year on the eve of Christmas.
