INCC-M varies 0.18% in March

CNI: number of employees in civil construction remains stable in April

The National Construction Cost Index – M (INCC-M) changed by 0.18% in March, a percentage lower than that calculated in the previous month, when the index increased by 0.21%. The INCC-M accumulates increases of 0.70% in the year and 8.17% in 12 months.INCC-M varies 0.18% in March

The index was released this Tuesday (28) by the Brazilian Institute of Economics of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (Ibre/FGV).

In March 2022, the index rose 0.73% in the month and accumulated an increase of 11.63% in 12 months. The index rate for materials, equipment and services changed from 0.32% in February to 0.09% in March. The index referring to the workforce changed 0.27% in March, compared to 0.10% in February.

The change related to services changed from 1.10% in February to 0.88% in March. In this group, it is worth highlighting the decline in the rate of ready meals at the workplace, which changed from 1.17% to 0.03%.

The rate of change referring to the labor index increased by 0.27% in March, after changing by 0.10% in February.

Five capitals showed a decrease in their rates of change: Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Recife, Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. On the other hand, Salvador and Porto Alegre showed an increase in their rates of change.
