The viaduct will separate the vehicular crossing at the level of the port boulevard with the Central Railroad track. Also, it will eliminate traffic interference generated by trucks entering the port, for which a unique access was created in the northern area and the port area was expanded.
Likewise, three lanes were built in each direction, aiming to reduce transfer times and increase circulation capacity at this point. The project also included general lighting for the entire work. All of these works implied an investment of 135 million dollars. The opening ceremony will take place from 7:30 p.m. on the Rambla Sud América, near the Central Station.
