On the afternoon of this Thursday, October 13, the President of the Republic, Laurentino Cortizo, inaugurated the first regional oncology unit for the care of patients in the Azuero region at the Anita Moreno Hospital in the province of Los Santos.
This unit, located in the Anita Moreno Hospital, is part of the Oncology Network project promoted by the National Government.
According to the Minister of Health Luis Francisco Sucre, the new oncology unit at the Anita Moreno Hospital will provide services for chemotherapy treatment, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, oral treatments, palliative treatments and surveillance for cancer survivors.
