Inauguration of the Clinical Analysis Laboratory and Simulation Center at the Spanish Hospital

This Monday, May 9, the new Clinical Analysis Laboratory was inaugurated at the Spanish Hospital, «Dr. Juan José Crottogini». Since 2007, it has been outsourced and has been observed by the Court of Accounts.

In a historic milestone, ASSE made it its own, maintaining the quality of benefits and with a view to strengthening them, as well as human resources, since no source of employment was lost.

These aspects were highlighted by the President of the organization, Leonardo Cipriani, who also highlighted the growth of the Hospital in the area of Imaging and Cardiology.

On the other hand, he highlighted that the Hospital was a flagship during the Covid-19 pandemic, being the first Reference Center in the country and whose work was recognized as being on a par with that carried out by the Sheba Hospital in Israel.

With this experience, the health teams that worked at the Hospital during the pandemic will provide training to colleagues on the care of Covid patients.

On the other hand, the First Simulation Center was inaugurated, which will enable training in basic and advanced resuscitation techniques. This will enable permanent training not only of medical and non-medical personnel of the Spanish Hospital, but of the entire ASSE.

Consulted by the press on the subject of medications, Cipriani extended peace of mind to users, since ASSE has the necessary drugs and the funds for their purchase. In fact, he expressed that 2021 was historically the year in which the most was invested in medicines.
